  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Cow Face legs with a forward fold because it is grounding and provides me great physical relief.

  • Makes Me Laugh: My husband, always.

  • Off the Mat: I am constantly reminded by my daughters not to take life too seriously!

  • Mantra/Quote: It was when I stopped searching for home within others, and lifted the foundations of home within myself, I found there were no roots more intimate than those between a mind and body that have decided to be whole.

  • Makes Me Laugh: I believe in finding the levity in a situation. A good sense of humor is a gift! I love laughing with family, friends and our community.

  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Seated forward fold, my breath slows down and I can go within.

  • Makes Me Laugh: My 7 nieces & nephews, my siblings. I laugh a lot!

  • Off the Mat: Same thing as on my mat: Patience, kindness, & love for all.

  • Favorite Part of Class: After moving so much energy through a flow, there’s that moment of stillness and reflection in a pose such as half pigeon. That’s when everything is cracked wide open and I am able to receive what I need and release what I can.

  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Triangle because I feel like I can shine from the inside out.

  • Makes Me Laugh: My oldest friend Jennifer can make me laugh till my abs are sore. :)

  • Off the Mat: Spending time with my loves, listening to my husband’s music and designing logos.

  • Mantra/Quote: You can get through anything one breath at a time.

  • Favorite Part of Class: The first few minutes of class when you get to slow down, connect to your breath and have a true separation from what came before you stepped on your mat, and your practice.

  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Side Angle - I love feeling strength in my lower body and open and free in my heart

  • Makes Me Laugh: My two kids, Gabe and Emma aka my two little monkeys! :)

  • Off the Mat: I love running and being active! I ran the Boston Marathon in 2015!

  • Favorite Part of Class: Knee knock pose with one hand on the chest and one on the belly--the transition from the fast pace to the slow down and being present with the body right where you are
  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Half-Moon--In all it's challenges with just one foot on the ground, you can still find stability and upliftment
  • Makes Me Laugh: Being with the ones I love (When I'm with my loved ones we are far from being serious people)
  • Off the Mat: Spend time with family and friends, Football Sundays, anything outdoors, and travel
  • Mantra/Quote: Moment by moment, step by step, breath by breath.

  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: So many! So I'll go with Chair- the pose we all love- haha! Makes me feel so strong- love the challenge. ;)

  • Makes Me Laugh: My husband and kids and dog. We try to keep it light-hearted.

  • Off the Mat: I'm a full-time working mother of 2 boys. Our yogi family likes to stay active and make memories by travelling and enjoying great food.

  • Mantra/Quote: Be Kind. Show Love. Be your most authentic self.

  • Favorite Part of Class: The flow! I was a dancer growing up so the flow is where I feel I can express myself and let it all go.

  • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Half Moon. It takes a lot of abdominal strength and balance which took a while to get back after having my daughter! It makes me feel strong.

  • Makes Me Laugh: My singing voice! ;)

  • Off the Mat: With my husband and 17-month old daughter, Joia. Beach. Cooking. Helping people improve their health and happiness as a health coach.

  • Mantra/Quote: "Live life as if everything in rigged in your favor" - Rumi. Life is full of good moments and not-so-good moments. But, when we think that ALL of our experiences are there to benefit us - to make us stronger, more compassionate, better versions of ourselves - we can walk through life as a student. Empowered with forward motion, always learning.

  • Favorite Part of Class: The end of class when everyone is seated. I love to see how everyone has relaxed, silent and calm in body and mind.

  • Most-Loved Pose: I love them all!!! I will choose triangle because of the length I'm able to feel while twisting.

  • Makes Me Laugh: My son makes me laugh when he's trying to be sneaky ;)

  • Off the Mat: I love spending time and cooking with my family

  • Makes Me Laugh: My students at the school I work at! They always say the funniest things and keep me on my toes.

  • Off the Mat: Snuggling my little one, Thomas, who was born in March 2018. :)

  • Makes Me Laugh: seeing my long haired Chihuahua run and play.
  • Off the Mat: Hiking in the woods and hills with my husband and dogs while breathing in nature’s smells, sights, and sounds

    • Favorite Part of Class: Gently bringing my students out of savasana is my fave. I love reminding them of their accomplishments and the self care to take with them into their day.
    • Most-Loved Pose & Why: Mountain. It is so grounding and centering at the same time. As Rolf Gates says, 'Mountain Pose holds the potential of all poses within it, just as stillness holds the potential for all movement.'
    • Makes Me Laugh: Laughter is contagious. If someone around me is laughing, I want in!
    • Off the Mat: I love taking care of my family, friends and flowers.
    • Mantra/Quote: Sat nam. I am. Self love is tricky for me sometimes. Meditating on it and sharing this mantra in class is an awesome reminder to us all. Sat nam.
