The Yoga Mindset with Jen Palmer, Owner & Founder of Universal Power Yoga

This is where yoga philosophy beautifully intersects with mindset and daily living. Through this course, you will learn tools and practices that can fundamentally change the way you perceive and interact with the world. My goal is for you to have a healthier, balanced and more resilient mindset and a peaceful way of being.

Jen lives and breathes yoga philosophy. In fact, it is how she has gotten through challenging times as well as how she maintains a balanced, resilient mind in her day to day. The ancient teachings of yoga help her to be less reactive and to feel purpose, peace and fulfillment. This course will present more than a way of thinking. It will give you practices for real results so you will feel a shift in your way of being. It's about a shift in your state of consciousness and how you are thinking, being and living.

If you feel ungrounded, frustrated, unbalanced or unfulfilled, this program is for you. If you generally feel good and you want to learn tools for being less reactive and even more resilient, grounded and intentional, this is also for you.

Each group session will include:

- Grounding experience (breathwork or meditation)

- Discussion led by Jen on a focused topic in yoga philosophy and how it relates to modern daily living

- Group coaching - You'll have an opportunity to ask Jen questions about how to apply yoga philosophy to your own life

Here's what you'll learn:

- Flexibility, breathwork and presence as a principle

- How to navigate life's obstacles with more ease and grace

- How to stop giving your energy to things that don't matter and things you don't have control over

- A clearer understanding of who you need to be to align with the life you want

- How to have a more balanced, resilient and peaceful mind

Mondays 6-7 pm live on zoom. The sessions will be recorded and available for 7 days.

Feb 17 - session #1: Mindfulness, Presence and Svadhyaya (Self-Study)

Feb 24 - session #2: Vairagya (Detachment)

Mar 10 - session #3: Tapas (Discipline) & Santosha (Contentment)

Mar 17 - session #4: Ishvara Pranidhana (Surrender, Acceptance, Trust)
