Allison Mattson

Allison is a Second Generation Pilates Master Trainer! She began her fitness journey at a young age as a dancer and group fitness instructor. After graduating Towson University, she was introduced to pilates first as a student and then as a teacher. Her first equipment certification with Balanced Bodies left her wanting a deeper knowledge of the pilates method, compelling her to become a Comprehensive Peak Pilates Teacher. After moving to MA in 2005, unable to find a local studio, Allison open, and ran Performance Pilates and Fitness for 18 years. During that time she was fortunate to be selected for a 2 year masters program, working directly with Lolita San Miguel in her Master Mentor Program, earning the distinction of Second Generation Pilates Master Teacher in 2010. In 2013 she became a Lolita Legacy Teacher Trainer. In 2012, Allison turned her focus to training professional athletes, working with MLB, NHL and NFL players. She worked for 12 years with The New England Patriots as their pilates trainer. With a desire to always learn, In 2019 she became a Fascial Stretch Therapist, utilizing the benefits of stretch therapy with her clients. Allison enjoys sharing her love of pilates with students of all abilities fully embracing Joseph Pilates belief that Pilates is not only for everybody but for Every Body.
